Carolynn Fletcher

introducing

Lisa and Paul

My name is Carolynn and I have been coming to St Anne’s for just over 2 years Church has always been an important part of my life since my mid twenties when I became a Christian. I have always loved being part of a fellowship and having the love and support of a church family.

My faith has been the greatest joy and has helped me deal with many of life’s challenges by knowing I'm not alone. I don’t always get things right but I know I am forgiven and can learn from the experience.

I have always tried to serve the Lord in whatever capacity I could.

During lockdown was the first time I'd had a break from church in almost 40 years. At first I missed it so much but after a while I got used to spending Sundays at home.

My grandson Chase.. who was 10 at the time and who I had taken to church since he was a baby, said ‘nana .. I really miss church.’ We had moved to Waterfoot temporarily so we decided to come up to St Anne’s.

On that the first Sunday we were made so welcome.

What was wonderful for Chase was there were children around his age.

St Anne’s is such a lovely community of people and there is so much going on ..not just on Sundays but throughout the week. It is definitely my happy place.

I have recently been welcomed onto the Parish Church Council. I am really excited to see how we can work together and share the Gospel’s message of Jesus with our neighbours.

Anyone thinking of joining us on a Sunday morning or for any of the weekday activities would be so welcome. It’s definitely worth giving St Anne’s a try! It will be blessings all round.
